Load Case > Selection of duration type
One of two different load case duration types can be selected.
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Permanent load (P) | The load is applied permanently and is therefore taken into account for creep calculations. It is also considered in non-linear construction stage analyses with the option "Accumulate permanent load" set in the recalc menu. |
| Non-permanent load (NP) | The load is only applied for a short period of time. The stresses caused by this load will not be considered for creep calculations and "Accumulate permanent loads". |
